Turning masterpieces
into NFTs

When do you buy your own Picasso?
Museums: monetize your treasures

There are over 55,000 art museums in the world.

The majority of those museums are publicly held and very often have one thing in common: they have no money. They totally depend on subsidies, donations or private art patrons. Actually, they are sitting on a real treasury with thousands of original masterpieces. Instead of selling them, NFTopia is tokenizing their masterpieces and selling them as unique or limited number of copies as NFTs.

For example, our famous Van Gogh here on the left in our case would be divided into 100,000 NFTs which once put together will be the whole painting. You can decide on the amount of NFT percentage you would like to purchase from a specific masterpiece.

Fractional ownership
NFTopia is offering a new art ownership: the innovative model of fractional ownership. We believe that art should be accessible to everyone, also for "smaller pockets" as well as corporations, art lovers or art collectors.

When tokenizing a masterpiece, we divide it into a defined number of NFTs that is published. So you can also own a small piece of a masterpiece.

Certificate
of authenticity
The NFTs will have a certificate of authenticity delivered by the Museum. This certificate is also created as a smart contract in the blockchain.

Secured
NFT platform
The masterpieces will be sold on our secured NFT platform. You can use our NFTOP tokens to purchase the NFTs. With the technological power of NFT and blockchain, NFTopia is offering its tokenization service, called "tokenization factory", for museums across the globe free of charge.

Users create an account. Museums have a different account access and access to an online catalogue admin backoffice system so they can easily manage their assets.
Motivation
Honestly, do you really believe that all those millions of "drawings" that are flooding the NFT market are really generating a long term value? We are motivated by creating value building a platform for real masterpieces who proved over time to have value.

Remember, in 1987 a painting of Vincent van Gogh, "Irises" was sold in an auction for $ 57 million dollars. An absolute world record at that time. In March 2022 the "L'empire des lumières" of René Magritte was sold in an auction for $ 79.8 million dollars.

Art became a real asset class in itself. Major analyst predict that the NFT market will grow to a $ 147 billion market by end of 2025. Join our growth story
